Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional Therapy aims to change an individual’s metabolism from an unbalanced state – causing distressing symptoms leading to diseases – to a state of balance and optimum health. Marisa Cesari

Reflexology

Reiki

Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is an ancient healing technique originating in Japan . Current practice follows the technique developed by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th Century. Reiki is a complementary therapy and flows through the body’s natural energy meridians as in other therapies such as acupuncture. A person receiving Reiki for the first time will first undergo a confidential consultation and will then lie on a couch fully clothed to receive Reiki. The practitioner places hands on set points on the body but may also add extra hand positions depending upon particular requirements. The healing energy which is received during a session is believed to be Universal Life Force energy which flows through all living things; it is also known as chi in China and prana in India.

The number of sessions required will be unique to each person and will be discussed individually. A completely holistic, safe and natural technique, Reiki works at the source of a problem and not superficially on outward symptoms.

Everyone will experience Reiki differently although it is common to feel deeply relaxed and even to fall asleep, some people feel warmth and tingly sensations. The UK Reiki Federation requires all Practitioner Members to adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. Alexis Williams.

Stress Management

Stress Management is about learning how to handle stress: coping with it and generally managing it in our everyday lives. We all have stress to a greater or lesser degree, but not many people can actually handle it. Marian Snow.

Zero Balancing

Zero Balancing is a gentle form of bodywork. It can release deeply-held tensions and patterns which prevent people from functioning at their best, allowing them to inhabit the body with a greater sense of ease and well-being. Working with the deepest energy flows in the body, it reconnects a person with their core self and can be a powerful tool for personal development. Anna Colmer.
